Recognize What Drives Your Culture

Motivators help to initiate one’s behavior and are sometimes called the hidden motivators because they are not always readily observed.

Motivators reveal the reasons that an individual might be motivated to act a certain way or to perform a job a certain way.

With the Motivators assessment tool we examine how prominent each of six basic interests (or ways of valuing life) are in an individual’s life:

  • Theoretical – the discovery of truth
  • Aesthetic – form and harmony
  • Individualistic – personal power, influence, and renown
  • Social – an inherent caring for people; helping others
  • Traditional – defining a system for living
  • Utilitarian – focus on money and useful things; ROI
